The Go Packs field pack is designed to stop traumatic bleeding. Kit Contents-

• 1 - 3.5 x 3.5 inch Quick Clot blood clotting sponge.
• 1 - 5 x 9 inch sterile ABD pad
• 1 - Roll of 2 inch x 2.2 yards of self adhering pressure bandage.

Packed into a 7 x 7 inch nylon pouch with Velcro enclosure.

In developing a trauma kit Go Packs tried to stay away from skin staplers and suture kits as these items tended to be intimidating to the average consumer. They have found the Quick Clot product, which is approved for veterinary use, to control traumatic injuries by causing blood to clot at the wound.

Using the Quick Clot sponge and a pressure bandage dramatically reduces blood loss due to injury.

QuikClot 1st Response is easy to use. Just rip open a packet, pack the self-contained sponge into the wound and the bleeding stops rapidly.

For larger wounds, use more than one sponge. The sponges will conform to the shape of the wound. QuikClot 1st Response is easily removed in the hospital setting.
